Is it ok to buy your competitors extensions and point them to your site?
i have already have my bases covered by own all TLD and lower level domains like .tv .ws .cc ..etc.
we have a few competitors that might be a threat to us in the future. is it good idea to buy off their unused extensions, or take their domain name keywords and buy off domain-name.com and point them all back to our main site?
would google/yahoo penalize you for doing that?
Nope, that is called cyber-squatting and the courts have ruled against such activity. Yahoo and Googlirrelevantlevent.
