With the economy the way it is, is web/graphic designing increasing in unemployment?
I went to some college about their web program and they said they cut it off because this school is a school that guarantees you work after you graduate. But, they said because web/graphic design is decreasing rapidly, they can’t guarantee work after college for that program. They said that web design is falling and no one is in big need of them lately, and maybe not for following years. But, later information said web or graphic design was a booming profession… Anyone able to help me?
I’m sure it really depends on where you live, or will want to work. In bigger cities such as Chicago, New York, Los Angeles, Dallas, etc will be able to provide jobs in that field. I would check for unemployment rates in cities such as those, or where you’d like to work and go from there… Can’t really tell you if it is booming or not.
