slip a hello

a tune that cant escape my mind
the way you say my name
so gracefully
the way you hold my hand
so gentle
the way you look into my eyes
so caring

but i cant find room in my heart for you
you see iv ridden on this Rollercoaster before
iv had to make these same choices
but all of them were mistakes
regrets stuck in my head
my heart is broken
cracked right through the middle
iv tried everything
tape and glue
don’t seem to fix this forgotten heart of mine
im afraid
im scared
to lose you
im afraid

i hope you can wait
let my heart heal
let me find myself
then ill come back
