Is it alright to make rare burgers if the meat came from only one cow?
Gonna buy some hamburger meat that comes from only one cow.
You’ll be fine, it doesn’t matter if the mince of ground meat comes from 1 cow or 10.
Just make sure it’s fresh.
The easiest way to tell is by the smell, if it smells bad, don’t eat it. If it don’t smell it’ll be fine.
And they do not cut the intestine when they are butchering an animal & if they do it is condemned, all contaminated meat is excised & disposed of as unsafe for human consumption.
However, you face a bigger risk using raw egg as a binder.
ironically Chickens have a far higher chance of containing infectious bacteria, they are not subject to the same scrutiny as meat, they are simply washed.
Chicken is sold with a caution; it will contain salmonella & possibly perfringens & should always be cooked well, above 70C.
