Is San Diego a good city to live in for a police officer?
I am planning to attend 4-year college and become a police officer. For a police officer, is San Diego a good city to live in?
It can be. The San Diego Police Department is a great department. If you would like to live in San Diego, then it would be a good place for you to live. Like most big cities, some areas are better than others. Getting police officer jobs is becoming more and more competitive. Get the highest grade point average that you can in college. Do whatever else you can to make yourself the best candidate that you can. For example, don’t do anything illegal. Maintain a good reputation. Keep a good driving record. Don’t get bad credit. Become as physically fit as you can. Become the best writer that you can. Participate in an extracurricular activity or 2 while in college. Consider doing some regular volunteer work. Consider trying to get an internship with a law enforcement agency while you’re in college. Best of luck!
