To start fire with magnifying glasses but no sun?
Is it possible to start fire with magnifying glasses but without the sun?? maybe with something like an intense light bulb or something?
i forgot to add this but the thing that is suppose to burn is in a sealed jar so the magnifying glass can’t be too close. also maybe the glass of the jar might do something??
yes definitely
by using a high power convex lens you can lit fire by using a 100W bulb.
we have done it in our physics lab.
