How do I promote a new web directory?
I have set up a new web directory but I cannot seem to find any ‘directory of directories’ sites? Does anyone know of any lists please? I have googled ths as a query – but all that comes up mostly is directories that do no have ‘directory’ as a category option.

First google to Yahoo! search and search for free or paid directories and submit your directory under the Directories Category. Then go to some of these popular sites such as search point and digital point and advertise offering people free listing. The traffic you get from those enquiring and those you list will boost your ranking. Once you get good traffic, many listings you are on your way to getting solid ranking in organic search results for all search engines.
