Imagine being ten years old and on your own during the depression?
Imagine being 10 years old and on your own during the depression. What problems would you face?
How would you solve them? What skills would you need?
i would face problems like:
1) not being able to eat much
2) parents fighting/separating
3)not being able to celebrate a birthday
4) if your a girl cant go to school
5)dirty living conditions
6)being dirty
7)seeing people die (Central park there was a camp there for people who couldn’t afford homes)
living in camps or on the street or cars
9)seeing people become inhumane (doing anything for money)
seeing a sibling for parent die from the common cold cuz u cant buy meds
Feeding yourself on a daily bases
watching forr robbers
staying alive
finding work
seeing dead people in the street
skills:
work ethic
courage
a reason to live
remember in the depression for the 30’s kids hadbasicallyl no right and so they werent given as much freedom as kids today
